Read more about our exciting plans for the community groups below.

From our experience, we've found that many people often look to social media for information, support and guidance.

But with many accounts only being run as 'interest groups' without any professional input and oversight, algorithms that often limit access to what content you get to see, and restricted direct engagement with other group members, it can leave people feeling like they're never quite getting the answers and support they really need, or worse still, receiving misleading information.

This is why we're creating our own

Rise As We Are Community Groups!

One supervised community just for young people up to 16 years old, and one moderated community for neurodivergent adults, as well as parents, partners and caregivers who share their lives with neurodivergent people.

We're making our groups 'members only' so that we can all freely interact with like-minded people without any judgement in a fun, sociable and supportive safe space. And our neurodiversity experts will be on hand to host regular events and offer professional advice and guidance when it's needed.

Rise As We Are

Young Person's Community

A safe social space designed for young people under the age of 16 living with Autism, ADHD or AuDHD, to interact and gain invaluable guidance and support from our Autism and AuDHD specialist and mentor, Carly Steel, and our ADHD specialist and coach, Dylan MacMillan.

Monthly sessions for each separate neuro-difference are held on Zoom with small group sizes, and are fully supervised by hosts that hold Enhanced DBS Certificates.

socialise

Interact, offer and receive peer-support and encouragement, and make friends with like-minded people. Hang out and join in if you want to - there's never any pressure to participate.

professional support

Our Autism, ADHD and AuDHD specialists host the sessions and provide expert advice and guidance in a calm and relaxed environment.

content

Our sessions are organised around the participants and their interests. So they are free to chat about the things that matter to them, while engaging in their favourite hobby at the same time in the comfort of their own safe space at home.

safety

Safety of all attendees is our top priority. The community sessions are fully supervised, and everyone will need to follow a code of conduct to ensure we can all enjoy ourselves and benefit from the sessions.

Access to the Young Person's Community requires registration and screening so that we can ensure the safety of all participants and understand their particular needs. If you are interested in joining our community, please contact us and we can provide you with more details.
