Supporting Parents & Carers

How can we support your family?

If you’re parenting or caring for a neurodivergent child, it can sometimes feel like you’re constantly firefighting or second guessing yourself. You’re not doing anything wrong. It’s just that the usual advice doesn’t always fit, and it’s exhausting trying to piece it all together on your own.

That’s where we step in. Whether it’s through workshops, webinars, or 1:1 sessions, we’ll give you practical strategies that actually work day-to-day, plus the reassurance that you’re not alone in this.

We can help with things like:

✔ Understanding meltdowns and shutdowns (and what really helps)
✔ Supporting anxiety and big emotions
✔ Building routines that work for your child
✔ Working with schools and navigating tricky conversations
✔ Finding ways to look after yourself and siblings too

What will it be like?

You won’t get judgment or a list of “shoulds” here.

Instead, it’s about helping you feel more confident, calmer, and clearer about what your child needs (and what you need too).

Before support: Most parents tell me they feel tired, stuck, unsure if they are making the right decisions, alone and judged.

After support: They feel heard, understood, and better equipped to handle the ups and downs. It’s that relief of realising, “Okay, we can do this. It doesn't have to be perfect”

You don’t need to wait for a diagnosis to start.

We’ll meet you where you are and figure things out together.

I'll be posting details of 1-1s, webinars and digital workshops soon, but if you want support right now then do send me an email and we'll get started!

Warmly, Carly

Testimonials

We have new tools and strategies to help understand when our child is struggling and what we can do to help them. Plus these will be useful in the future when our child gets older too. It has helped us understand things from our child's perspective, which has also helped us to really reduce meltdowns, as we are seeing signs and potential problems before they are too much for our child.

Sarah (Parent of 5 year old autistic child)

Carly's Autistic Burnout workshop was really useful. She suggested manageable strategies to help our children in burnout as well as how to recognise burnout and managing school when the child is struggling.
